The basis for memory card technology is flash memory. It was invented by Fujio Masuoka at Toshiba in 1980 and commercialized by Toshiba in 1987. PC Cards (PCMCIA) were the first commercial memory card formats (type I cards) to come out, but are now mainly used in industrial applications and to connect I/O devices such as modems. A Micro Secure Digital slot (MicroSD slot) is a small expansion slot located in mobile and other portable devices. It facilitates the increase of available memory via the insertion of a MicroSD card. MicroSD, MiniSD and SD are industry standard storage platforms governed by the Secure Digital Association (SD Association). Hi, I have a new G72-25OUS laptop, I'm wondering how to use the slot on the left side, that says SD-MS/Pro-MMC-XD? I assume its to put a SD card in from my camera to upload photos, do I just stick it in and if so, how do I get it out? MultiMediaCard, officially abbreviated as MMC, is a memory card standard used for solid-state storage.

I have been playing Twilight Princess GC on 4.0.2 for MAC and was able to save directly on the memory card slot A. I would use save states aswell once in a while in some dungeons. But now when i want to open up the game again, nothing has been saved and it asks me if i want to write to Memory Card A like i never played it before so I am stuck using the save states. Problem is I want to use the new developers Dolphin because it worked out the minimap glitch i always had. I tried deleting the memory card A, loading my saved state and saving ingame to create a new memory card in Dolphin/GC and it seems to save. But when i open it again it does not work.. PLEAS HELP!!!
